Wizard World Horror Fest to debut in Philadelphia
Wizard World has teamed up with the #1 horror website Bloody-Disgusting.com for a horror fan’s dream come true. The two fanboy behemoths are launching a horror themed festival to coincide with various Wizard World Comic Con’s across the country.  The very first Wizard World Horror Fest is set to debut in Philadelphia alongside the Wizard World Comic Con Philadelphia June 1-4, 2017.

The first Wizard World Horror Fest will kick off on Thursday June 1st and run through Sunday June 4th at the Philadelphia Convention Center alongside Wizard World’s annual Philadelphia Comic Con. There is some great programming scheduled including an anniversary screening of the cult hit film Buffy The Vampire Slayer with the star herself Kristy Swanson. Another cult hit, The Monster Squad will be screened with stars Ryan Lambert and Andre Gower. Then the crown jewel of the programming lineup is a special screening of A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors followed by an acoustic performance by Don Dokken – frontman of the band Dokken which released the Dream Warriors song.

Additionally, Wizard World Horror Fest Philadelphia will have the US debut of the much buzzed about horror film Dark Signal. Dark Signal, produced by Neil Marshall (Game of Thrones, The Descent) follows the story of a radio station that begins getting contacted by the spirit of a murdered girl.

Single day tickets are only $20 and 4 day passes are only $50 so this is extremely affordable for the horror fan and comic geek alike. We are SO excited that Wizard World and Bloody Disgusting are putting this together and look forward to it becoming even better as they build it over time.
