Tron: Legacy Powers To #1

The sequel / re-imagining of Tron proved to be a hit for Disney, 28 years after the original. Tron Legacy took the top spot at the US Box Office this weekend with $43.6 million. After the original Tron was a bust, Disney must be really happy that Tron Legacy sold more than 2.5 times the amount of tickets as the original. Yogi Bear proved to be a huge bust, coming in at #2 with only $16.7 million. This was well under studio estimates and will prove a huge disappointment.

Hit the jump for the full Top 10.
