In a surprising turn of events, Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules beat Sucker Punch for the top spot at this weekends box office. The sequel to last year’s Diary Of A Wimpy Kid took in $24 million, beating the first installment in the franchise by $2 million. Sucker Punch, which was easily supposed to take the box office by storm, came in second place with $19 million. Disney’s Mars Needs Moms is an official flop, grossing only $2 million in it’s third weekend for a $19 million total.
