We have some Star Wars news and it isn’t much but it’s certainly intriguing. The official Star Wars website announced that  Star Wars: Episode VII will take place 30 years after Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. The press release states that “a trio of new young leads alongside some very familiar faces” is in the cards for the next episode in the Star Wars saga. Since the Star Wars timeline states that Luke Skywalker was 26 in Return of the Jedi, that would put him at 56 for Episode VII.

Star Wars: Episode VII, directed by J.J. Abrams, is certainly shaping up to be super interesting. It begins filming in May and will hit theaters December 18, 2015.
