Star Wars: Episode VII Begins Filming This Summer
Star Wars: Episode VII is set to film this summer. Beginning in mid-May, J.J. Abrams will direct the film and will conclude shooting in September. With a release date of December 18, 2015, that gives them about 14 months to get the film completed. No casting announcements have been made yet, but it has essentially been unofficially confirmed that Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford will be back.
