After the release of Give Me All Your Luvin’, which was a fun, infectious pop song, many people were wondering about the musical direction of MDNA, Madonna’s first album post Warner Brothers. While GMAYL hit #10 on the charts, it still lacked that typical dance floor oomph that Madonna does so well. Girl Gone Wild has it in spades. The second single off of MDNA, Girl Gone Wild is a four on the floor, all hands on deck, club banger.
Opening with a spoken word confession on being bad, but striving to be good, Girl Gone Wild then jumps right into the super catchy verse which builds to a climaxing, sing along chorus. The bridge breaks it down again with another confession before exploding once again and mainting that electro pop party for the rest of the track.
I would say that you’ll be singing this song at the top of your lungs, but you’ll probably be too out of breath from dancing to even try.
