The 4th installment of the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise, On Stranger Tides, has had its budget cut back by new Disney chairman Rich Ross. Empire Online reports that director Rob Marshall will have to cut some action sequences and keep the cast on land more than the original script calls for. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer says “The hard thing is you have to make painful decisions that cut into some very entertaining sequences, (but) the audience will never miss them.” Orlando Bloom & Kiera Knightly will not be returning.
