Zack Snyder spoke with Collider this weekend and revealed that more 300 movies are coming. That’s correct, multiple 300 sequels are in the planning stages.

Snyder is currently promoting Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice but spoke of what he is planning beyond that. Snyder – and Warner Brothers – are interested in turning 300 into a franchise of sorts. A franchise that doesn’t deal exclusively with Ancient Greece, but moves on to other epic battles throughout history with that beautiful, unique 300 style.

Do you think there will be another 300?

ZACK SNYDER: There may be. There may be. We’ve been talking a lot about sort of different incarnations of 300. We’ve been talking about is there a way, possibly, we move out of Ancient Greece and use it as a framing device for other conflicts that happened throughout history.

I think I mentioned that we talked about the Revolutionary War version, and we talked about the Alamo, and we’ve talked about there’s a battle in China, a “Lost Legion” kind of concept, any of those kinds of things are on the table.

Snyder had very recently mentioned a 300 film centering around George Washington and the Battle of Trenton. In the previous quote Snyder mentioned the Battle for the Alamo and the Revolutionary War. Using this logic, the 300 franchise could go on forever.
