Meatloaf Collapsed On Stage

Legendary rocker Meat Loaf collapsed on stage while singing the iconic I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)

Legendary rock singer Meat Loaf collapsed on stage at a concert last night June 16, 2016 in Edmonton, Canada. The singer was  on tour promoting his Hell In A Handbasket album and was well into one of the encores, iconic smash hit I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That), when he collapsed on stage mid song.

Fans remained confused for a moment as the band stopped and ran towards Meat Loaf. It then became apparent this wasn’t Meat’s dramatics and was actually a serious matter. After a few moments, Meat was taken off the stage and the show at the North Jubilee Auditorium was cancelled.

Thankfully, today his management released details of the scary event stating that Meat Loaf’s medical issue was due to severe dehydration. He is now stable and a full recovery is expected.

Meat Loaf’s upcoming album will feature long time on and off again songwriter and producer Jim Steinman. The album will reunite Meat Loaf with Ellen Foley and Karla DeVito of Paradise By The Dashboard Light.  Braver Than We Are will be released September 16, 2016 in the United States and September 9, 2016 in the UK. We wish Meat Loaf nothing but absolute well wishes and can’t wait to see him on stage again!
