iTunes Continues To Dominate Digital Music Sales

Well this is NOT surprising. Apple iTunes continues to smash all of the competition in the paid digital music front. iTunes share of the paid digital music market rose from 63.2% to 66.2% . Amazon.com comes in second place with 13.3%, up from 11% last year. What’s amazing is that iTunes continued to gain market share even with Amazon’s highly discounted deals over the past year. The rest of the the digital stores (Napster, etc) combined, total 20.5% of the market.

The Whore just finds iTunes easier. What service do YOU use?
