How To Train Your Dragon Sequel Set For 2013

A sequel for Dreamworks’ How To Train Your Dragon has gotten the green-light for a Holiday 2013 release. On par to make over $200 million in the US, the sequel will also be in 3D. With a $44 million opening weekend, the film came in lower than expectations, but rebounded and has held steady week to week. Dreamworks CEO Jeffery Katzenberg recently told shareholders that it has become popular enough to spawn a multimedia franchise. A spin off television series is in the works, a virtual online gaming world, and a multi-media live arena experience, similar to Walking With Dinosaurs.
