Google Announces E-Books Store

Today, Google announced that they’ve launched a new cloud based bookstore, called Google E-Books. The online store will allow customers to purchase books at the site, then read “from the cloud” or download to an approved e-Reader (Apple iPad, Barnes & Noble Nook, Sony Readers, etc) including pretty much everything but the Amazon Kindle. Over 3 million books are available right now, immediately making it the largest e-Reader bookstore in the world. Reading “from the cloud” will allow you to read from any web enabled device no matter where you are, from your Smart Phone to your PC. Downloading to your device will allow you to read anywhere, whether you have an internet connection or not.

Will YOU be checking out Google E=books?
