Emotional Madonna Dedicates Song To Estranged Son
Even Icon’s aren’t immune from the frailties of life. Pop Icon Madonna emotionally dedicates a song to her estranged son Rocco at her Friday night stop in New Zealand. If you haven’t seen the news, Rocco Richie, her son with ex-husband Guy Richie, decided to leave life on the road with Madonna and live with his father in England. Understandably, Madonna has been extremely emotional. Like a trooper, the living legend has carried on with her sold out Rebel Heart World Tour, even while fighting in court to keep custody of her teenaged son.
It is obviously affecting her though, and it showed at the Auckland New Zealand stop on Rebel Heart World Tour on Friday night. The Queen of Pop, all alone in the middle of the stage, began talking about love and her son. She said
“There’s no love stronger than a mother for her son, and if I talk about him too much, I’m going to cry. I hope he hears this somewhere and he knows how much I miss him.”
Then, she gave the crowd an absolutely beautiful performance of La Vie En Rose which she had dedicated to Rocco.
We love you Madonna and we can’t imagine how absolutely heartbreaking this must be for you.
