Drake Thinks He’s More Important Than Philip Seymour Hoffman

Former Degrassi: The Next Generation star Aubrey Graham, aka Drake, is lashing out at Rolling Stone for giving his cover to the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Drake took to Twitter to comment:

I’m disgusted with that. RIP to Phillip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil.

I’m done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That’s the only way my message gets across accurately.

Let’s compare bodies of work, shall we? Philip Seymour Hoffman gave us such amazing works at Capote, Charlie Wilson’s War, Doubt and The Master. Drake has given us lines such as, “Diss me & you’ll never hear a reply for it. Any awards show or party I’ll get fly for it. I know what’s coming I just hope I’m alive for it.” Sorry, Jimmy Aubrey Drake, but your thoughts on Kanye West are literally a speck on the meter compared to the passing of Hoffman – one of entertainment’s greats.

Do YOU think Drake should gave been given the Rolling Stone cover?
