Disney Announces Movie Release Dates Through 2019
Disney announces movie release dates through 2019 including Star Wars, Pixar, live action fairy tales and more!

Today, Disney¬†announces movie release dates through 2019 and they’ve got an extremely strong lineup. We will see yearly Star Wars films with a spin-off series of movies dubbed “A Star Wars Story” being released in the off year of the main “Star Wars” saga. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be first, landing December 15, 2016, followed by Star Wars: Episode VIII in 2017 and an as yet untitled Han Solo movie hitting in 2018.

In fact, there’s plenty of sequels and franchise films with Alice Through The Looking Glass, Finding Dory, Maleficent 2, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Cars 3, Toy Story 4 and The Incredibles 2 will all be hitting movie theaters over the next 4 years. After the huge box office take of live action versions of their fairy tale films including Cinderella, Maleficent and Alice In Wonderland, Disney hopes to continue that streak with Beauty and the Beast in 2017 and Tim Burton starting work on Dumbo (which doesn’t have a release date yet).

Also noticeably absent are any further LucasFilm movies including the recently announced Indiana Jones film.
