Did Beyonce steal Drunk In Love?

By now, everyone is aware that Beyonce regularly steals takes credit for songs and work that aren’t hers. She has a writing credit on Irreplaceable even though Ne-Yo had submitted the song to her completely finished. She took a writing credit on Bootylicious, even though producer Rob Fusari had brought it to her completely finished.  She took writing credit on Ego, even though Chrisette Michele had written it for her own album. She took writing credit on Crazy In Love, even though it was Rich Harrison who had produced and written it and brought it to Jay Z to add a rap verse.  She took writing credit for Smack Into You, which had already been released by Jon McLaughlin. She took writing credit on I Miss You, even though Frank Ocean had written and recorded it himself.  She even took credit on If I Were A Boy, which was not only already written and recorded by BC Jean, but was set to be her debut single. The list goes on and on and on. Her father and former manager Matthew Knowles had famously stated: “People don’t want to hear about Rob Fusari…No offense, but that’s not what sells records. What sells records is people believing that the artist is everything.”

So does anyone actually believe that Beyonce was sitting with her guitar strumming out chords to Drunk In Love? Of course not, but she has writing credit on it anyway. Even though, rapper Future revealed at his South By Southwest performance that the song was his. “I was recording with this producer by the name of Detail. We were working on Drunk In Love….It’s one of my favorite songs that didn’t make the album”.

  1. you are seeping with intelligence and wit. it apparently has gotten you far enough in life to receive oral sex from strangers outside…but never to receive an invitation inside. gee, I wonder why…o_O

  2. Having gone to UD Alexandra I can tell you that the University is the economy. While students don't pay taxes they provide a huge amount of economic acitvity to full time residents that own the restaurants and stores that students buy goods from and the houses that they rent. The University is a public/private partnership with the state so I don't know it's tax status but you would be in the wrong to think that students don't deserve a say in how the city is run. In fact since they can't vote they actually have much less say than they deserve and are frequently treated like second class citizens with regard to laws that are made about how many stsudents can live in a rented house etc.

Things like this have been going on forever, and are typically laughed about. Only now they are recorded for all to see and internet activists DEMAND JUSTICE! If someone that day saw these two, had no video/pics, and told a cop what they had witnessed, my guess is the cop would have blown them off (no pun intended).

  3. I will agree with you that students do contribute to the economy of the city. however, living in the digital age, I find it hard to believe that young people don't consider that what they do in public can easily be instantly captured and spread to various media outlets instantaneously. it would be much harder for the police to pursue these folks without the smartphone photos, however, they were still caught on security cameras (which I'd estimate are about 20 years old if not older). the point being they did something incredibly stupid and illegal and got caught.

  4. there are children going to the movies or sitting in school who get shot and killed. There are children who take out the old man's loaded revolver from a drawer who are shot and killed. Maybe you ought to worry more about them, Mr. Usher.
