Apple Announces iPhone SE
Apple just announced the newest member to their iPhone lineup. The new handset, called the iPhone SE looks nearly identical to the iPhone 5S. It has a 12 megapixel iSight camera and full 4K video. The processor is the 64 Bit A9 which is the exact same processor housed in the iPhone 6S. It will also include the M9 motion coprocessor giving it the “Hey Siri” ability to do tasks while away from your phone, as well as extremely powerful gaming performance.
Additionally, the iPhone SE has the latest LTE chip giving it access to the fastest LTE speeds available. 802.11ac Wi-Fi will give it better battery life and access to the fastest Wi-Fi speeds available. Apple Pay support is also included.
Apple sold 30 million 4-inch iPhones in 2015, proving there’s a huge market for Apple to continue to increase their record setting sales.
iPhone SE will begin pre-orders this week and launching next week. Pricing starts at $399 for the base model, $17 per month for the Apple program or free with a two year carrier contract.
