A&E has announced that it will air a live aftershow for Bates Motel after the Season 2 premiere on March 3, 2014. Bates Motel: After Hours will include Freddie Highmore, Vera Farmiga, Max Theiriot, Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin. The half hour show will air at 11pm immediately after Bates Motel and will discuss the show, it’s stars and it’s direction in front of an audience made up of fans.

Currently set as a one time special, that is bound to change should Bates Motel: After Hours be as successful as AMC’s Talking Dead, the popular after show for The Walking Dead. Talking Dead averages over 4 million viewers an episode. Bates Motel averaged 3 million viewers an episode, a huge hit for A&E.

Bates Motel: After Hours will air Sunday, March 3, 2014 at 11pm, immediately following Bates Motel. Will you be checking in?
